Darul Ansar is an organization dedicated to supporting New Muslim converts through education and community engagement. Our mission is to empower new Muslims by fostering a sense of belonging and providing accessible Islamic knowledge. In alignment with this vision, we offer courses, webinars, and in-person events tailored specifically to the needs of new Muslims.
We have a very diverse community of over 40+ new muslims and support members from over 10+ different nationalities & ethnicities!

Moulana Uzair Mutaqi, Co-Founder of Darul Ansar, teaches Islamic sciences, mentors youth, and is pursuing advanced Fiqh studies and a Master’s in Islamic Finance at INCEIF University.
Hafiz Ammar, Co-Founder of Darul Ansar, completed Hifdh in 2020, is pursuing Alimiyyah and Ijazah studies, and actively mentors youth while leading the organization’s marketing and outreach efforts.
Alimah Umm Uzair, Co-Founder of Darul Ansar & Head of Darul Ansar Sisters, studied Islamic sciences at Zainab Center, earned her Fadila degree in 2015, and continues to teach Tajweed, Tafseer, and Fiqh while managing a business.
Alimah Bint Asif, Instructor at Darul Ansar Sisters, graduated from Darul Uloom Al Madania in 2020, teaches Islamic sciences, holds a BBA in Business Management, and is pursuing an Ijaaza at Darul Qasim.
Ustadha Bint Farhan, Arabic instructor at Darul Ansar, studied Fiqh, Hadith, and Seerah in Canada and is currently advancing her studies in Quranic studies and Tafseer.

"One very special part of our dawah is that as soon as anyone accepts Islam, we immediately connect them with Darul Ansar, an initiative started by the Muttaqi family. The brothers (who are scholars and also do dawah with us) conduct in person classes with the male converts and their respected mother and sister teach the females. They teach them the complete faraaidh of deen in person and then connect them to the community. They also do a graduation celebration for each convert. This is a very important effort as it allows us to have them taught properly in person rather than just leaving them with a Quran and a pamphlet. May Allah bless the family."

الحمد لله, we provide our new muslim brothers and sisters with a safe space to meet and socialize with other new muslims in the community. We host monthly socials where we grab some food, chat, and build a community of new muslims.
